The program includes food seminars featuring “The Mushroom Man” of Lanark County, Scott Perrie of Valley Wild Edibles, who will present information about foraging for local mushrooms, berries, nuts and wild leeks. Other food related workshops will include topics on garlic, herbal remedies and tinctures, Slow Food, beekeeping, apples, maple syrup etc.; the renowned “Bowes Brothers” musical entertainment; and children’s activities, such as a petting zoo, bouncy castle, face painting, and much more.
